Congratulation Italy-noundies for being full-time freeballer as of today. To be sure you won't go back to wearing underwear, I suggest to you that you throw away all your underwear, so you won't be tempted to wear it again. more power to you and all the freeballers here.
Hallo, it's good to have some more European members to broaden the scope of the postings. How common is feeballing in Italy these days? I can imagine with all the designer underwear produced by the Italian high-fashion brands, it's pretty uncommon now to go without. In the late 70's I remember reading an article which suggested that not wearing underwear was very common in Italy, with something like 20% of men between 16 and 55 freeballing. This was followed by France with around 10%. I guess those figures would be much lower now. Here in the Netherlands I think the percentage of freeballers is very low. Just recently I have noticed an increase in combination with very low jeans. Showing off the underwear waistband has become less fashionable, finally.
well, don't know about the 70s I wasn't around yet :-P
but now I think numbers are different.. can't really give you an exact percentage but I'm pretty sure most male don't freeball here in Italy
for 2 reason I guess:
- it is widely considered unsanitary (fools!)
- it's still fashionable for many teenagers to show off underwear waistband peekin out from the back
Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Armani etc etc.. yes Italy has a lot of underwear manifacturers...
I really don't know if freeballing is uncommon here because italian men like wearing fashion underwear or if it is the other way round a lot of underwear manifacturers 'cause italian males don't freeball :-P

When i ditched all my u/w i kept four pair of favourite boxers to use as shorts around the house. The two most comfortable and stylish that i like the most are Italian, and have "ITALY" embossed around the inside of the waistband. Funny thing is, when i take them off i have the word indented repeatedly around my middle on my skin in mirror-script, hehehe.
But, i have to say, they were not expensive. All four pairs are 'St Michael' brand from Marks & Spencer (UK readers will know).
You're right. I was thinking about this sitting in the park here in Amsterdam at lunch time, watching people sunbathing. A couple of the guys certainly looked very sexy with their underwear waistbands showing, but there was one guy who had unbuttoned the top of his jeans and had no underwear. He got the top score, not because he was the best looking but just because the skin (though he was quite discreet) was sexier than the fabric.
All gay men find different things sexy, as do all straight men. Some like freeballing; some, obviously feel that way about undies.
Not all gay men find every man sexy, just as all straight men don't find every woman sexy.
I've never disputed any of those things. I merely gave one very obvious example of how people can have different ideas about what is sexy. And I suspect probably more people find various types of underwear sexier than freeballing- but this does make the preference of those who prefer freeballing any less valid.
