A bunch of my HS buds- were all sophomores going into our junior year in the fall have made a pledge to freeball all vacation. I love the freedom of going without but have gym four days a week at school and am afraid of what would be said or done by the locker room bullies if they noticed that I wasn't wearing boxers. However once the gym class is finished I go into the school bathrom and take the boxers off and freeball for the rest of the day. The feeling is great!!
The worry I have is that my dad doesnt know that I like to freeball. Once when I was in the car with him we saw a teen guy sagging and showing bare butt. My dad is a control freak and shouted at the guy to pull up his pants and go put on underwear. We are due to go camping and since mom is taking granma and my sister in one apartment of the tent, dad and my younger bro are going to sleep in the same area. I want to keep my pledge but dont know what to do if he finds out. Any advice?
The guys on the forum can really help here. Bottom line, where does it say it is wrong not to wear undergarments? Is it immoral? Is it against the law? Besides, you are growing up now, and some things like underwear, can be a choice for your clothing. For certain I hear you about the control thing. Tough deal. You can do the fb thing and not make a big deal about it. You don't have to say anything. If anyone asks, just tell them it is a personal choice to be more comfortable. No more, no less.

Thanks for advice. I should be able to not wear underwear if I choose but I dont have the courage to tell my dad that I want to freeball. How have other young guys(when they were still at high school) on this board dealt with telling their parents that they were freeballing, did they ask for permission or just throw unused underwear into the laundry? How did they handle the taunts when changing for gym? I would love to be able to stand up to the locker room nazis who in my school determine that guys should only wear boxers or boxer briefs. Guys who wear tightie-whiteys soon learn not to.

What makes you think you will get taunted for freeballing? If anything, it will make you out to be HARD. Especially if your uniform trousers are itchy polyester!
Briefs with cartoon characters are a different matter .....
that is exactly what I did the summer of 2007, but that was more for my benefit because I WANTED to go fulltime
that next year was senior year
that first mon we had pe for me( I had pe every day of the week) I was too scared to fb in pe, because of like you said the locker room
but I hated wearing my boxers and I was uncomfortable the whole day I have not worn underwear since
and that next day I first fb in pe and every day after, no one ever said anything about my fb in pe or even in the locker room whiel changing
and I lovvved fb in my bb shorts that I wore, I am actually in them now haha
I realized my balls and penis swinging was nice too, and the looseness was amazing
and I ran faster too
I even threw all my underwear away soon after that
the second semester though I had a friend a (freshmen), and after school was over forever, I talked to him about me fb online, and he was surpised I was a fb (most people I tell are)
but he said twice he saw my ass, once he thought I just had forgotten my underwear ( how does someone just forget their underwear haha
the second time he thought I had on low rise briefs or something ( no way briefs can ever be that low...haha)
and I never showed off or changed slowly either

as far as your dad, if he loves and cares about you enough, he will not care
unless he is supppper conservative, which he can't be that much if you guys go camping
he was probably just annoyed by the guy sagging, not the fact that he was freeballing
if he finds out, he finds out

if I were you I would freeball when you go camping, why give up that comfortable freedom just for your dads sake??

If you're scared of your father you should take your underwear off whenever possible and hide it. Obviously, if you have to dress or undress in your father's presence you'll have to be careful, but as soon as possible take it off and hide it somewhere where you can retrieve it when necessary. Yes, put it in the laundry unused - nobody will say anything so long as it's there - just goes to show that underwear is just a matter of convention and serves no useful purpose. Be yourself, be free !
Thanks guys for advice. The most amazing thing happened last night. Mom, dad, my younger brother Nathan and me were invited to my dad's boss house for a party. Anyways, my dad's boss said why dont the boys go out to the backyard pool for a swim. We went up to Jordan's (the older boy) room to change. He is my age. My dad came up to use one of the upstairs bathrooms and looked in to see that Jordan was freeballing under his cut-offs. He didnt say anything but later I said that I had thought of trying freeballing at the campsite. I waited for the explosion but he only said #Dont make it obvious and dont let your mom or granma see your butt or your bits and dont do it at school. I dont want anyone to think that I cant afford to buy you underwear. Looks like its best to fight one fight at a time and I get to keep my pledge.

Hey man, that's cool that your dad just accepted your wish to freeball. I'm 16 and have been freeballin p/t for a year now (yea even for gym). I ware a long athletic shirt under my school sweatshirt and take off my pants and put on my gym shorts before shuckin off the muscle top. I think that some of the other guys suspect that I'm freeballin but none has said anything.
But I cant tell my parents so keep putting unworn boxers in for laundry.
I think that more teen guys would freeball if they werent afraid of teasing and pantsing at school.

Hey Daniel I didnt realise that there were as many young guys that want to freeball. Me and a bunch of friends decided to do it this vacation as a kind of dare. This morning we all went to a swim at the local Y and we all checked out that everyone was freeballing.
Thanks for good advice about wearing a long shirt for changing for school PE. It will make it less obvious that I would be freballing.
As others have posted by the time school resumes my dad will not be bothering to check that I am wearing u/w to school.
Next week we go camping and I'll be comando.

My dad was transferred in his job for a year to England and I had to attend high school there for a year. In the fsll I will be going into my senior year back in US. Previously I had freeballed ocasionally at school but did not dare do it when I started school in England- I had too many new problems to cope with. But once I started gym/PE lessons a couple of the guys I noticed were freeballing. I was still too afraid to do it but one day my mom and dad had been out of town, staying overnight and I didnt here the alarm. I threw on pants and shirt without thinking (no time to look out underwear from the dryer) and ran for a bus to school. I forgot we had PE first - but by luck there was t the bottom of my bag soccer shorts and sneakers from indoor soccer the night before. The point of the yarn was that I had to change for gym COMMANDO!!! One of the guys joking pulled down my shorts and said that I must be the only circumcized boy in the class but other than that nobody bothered. After that I went commando quite regularly. So to the young guys out there dont be to worried about freeballing at school.
At my HS we have swim team practice before school and regularly most of us freeball as some wiseguy likes to throw underwear into the pool. Anyhows a bunch of us always observe freeballin Friday. As others have said most guys dont notice or care whats under your pants. Freedom rocks!!
To Breaststroke Rob, thanks for info. Freeballing Fridays seems such a good idea but on the point of swimming. At the campsite pool this week I notice a number of boys wearing boxers under their swim shorts or board shorts - some of them very expensive brands. Even my conservative dad thinks that it is crazy to wear underwear under your swim shorts. I'm not much of an exhibitionist but I am comfortable being nude in changing rooms, locker rooms etc but some of the guys here wont change in the locker rooms but go back to their tents to change in private. They are so shy. Don't think that to many of them will become freeballers.
I think wear underwear under board shorts is stupid. I just came back from the beach, i don't' think i saw one person there without their underwear underneath the board shorts. Personally, i think it is a waste. I do not wear any under mine. I like the feeling. And who wants another piece of clothing wet? I don't.
I spoke with some of the guys and managed to persuade some of them that wearing underwear under swim and board shorts is stupid and they now swim without u/w. They thougt that it was more comfortable than having the inner mesh rub against their balls but some admitted that the wet boxers were giving them a rash. They think it strange that I am freeballing but when I told them how comfortable it is a bunch decided to try it for like one day, today. My younger brother has now started freeballing also.
Introduce them to the comfort of fbing, let them try it, then make up their own mind.
AND, indeed, i thought the whole idea of board shorts was to wear nothing inside them, not even a liner, cos the sand particles in the sea can wash right through and not get caught up and irritate a guys sensitive bits.
