Macavity laughs his big throaty laugh, lounging back in his chair. "Godiva, if you're ever my entertainment, you wouldn't have to ask." He sits up abruptly, bringing his arms down on his desk to show now he's all business. "Of course I want to find out about my daughter. Why else do you think I would call you? Certainly not to scold you for your lack of cleanliness in the kitchen." His steady gaze locked on Godiva.
