Thanks for your advice. I just got off the phone with my mechanic and he says that it was not an issue with the cable. What I understood is that the rollers were out of adjustment and got stuck in the full position eventhough the cable returned to idle position. He adjusted it and says now its working fine. I guess we'll see when we take it to its element and get wild!
