Response to Full throttle at engine start

I have a 240 sportjet and I had the same problem when I started it. The problem with mine was a wire had come loose from the harness and worked its way into the butterfly of the carb. So the connector on the end of the wire would hold open the butterfly about a quarter of the way. The butterfly is on the back side of your computer box on the front of the engine. Maybe this will help.
