Response to Re: Constant Buzzer Sound & no Water from Bypass outlet

It's one of the things I check every Spring during dewinterizing.

I agree he should check the fuel/water separating filter. An easy way to know if that's the reason for the alarm would be to disconnect the brown wire running to the sensor on the bottom of the filter. If the beep stops, there's your answer.

My C2K has an oil warning LED right on the dash. If his does too, that should tell him if he has an oil flow problem. He could also check the backup tank on the engine proper. (Who knows, it could be the sensor in the cap. I've heard that those fail occasionally.)

I like the suggestion of checking the jetdrive cooling intake. That would explain it perfectly. Or an obstruction in one of the cooling hoses. The flush port does NOT route water the same way as the jetdrive intake.

Idea: When it's idling on the hose, is there water pouring from the jetdrive intake? That would indicate that the intake is not obstructed. Mine pours plenty of water out its intake grate while on the hose. (Flows out of both exhaust pipes, too.)

Just more ideas....
