      Yes, The powerhead is identical whether its a 210hp or 240hp. At Mercury Marine... all powerheads were manufactured the same i.e. 210hp. Then, some were modified to be a 240EFI. Either the 210hp or the 240hp EFI will fit on your M2 Jet Pump.

      The M2 Jet Pump was designed by Mercury Marine as well. Whether or not it can be maited with another 2.5L... I wouldn't know. A while back there were a few used powerheads forsale. I recommend you first look for a 210hp or 240hp Mercury Marine powerhead before you start thinking about another manufacturer.
