I've got to agree with everything you said Laurie. Elvis was totally professional and Rudy really came off like a creep, I think he wants to be the Simon Cowell of the skating world and he just ended up looking like a jerk-IMO.
I won't give any spoilers either, in case someone checks this before they watch the program, in case they TiVo'd it as well.
Even when someone didn't do all that great, Elvis seemed to be able to find something positive to say to them, and any criticism he did give was honest, but kind. The was a good teacher speaks to a student. I've always liked him, and his actions on this show have told me that I've been right about him all along.
It was really ugly of Rudy to make the comments he made to the girl from Chicago. I wanted to reach out and slap the taste right out of his mouth! Trying to flirt with the first guy was totally uncalled for.
Oksana was fairly rude to a number of people as well.
The surface they have to work on is almost dangerously small for trying anything big or fast.
If it weren't for Elvis being professional, I don't think the show would be worth watching.
