Response to richmond hill gala

I haven't posted here in a long while, but I hope some of you remember me. I attended this show last night with shopper, and was I ever blown away. The theme of the gala was "Skating, Past, Present & Future". For the past, they put together a string of performances by some up and coming skaters, imitating some classic performances, like Kurt's Casablanca, S&P's Love Story, and B&K's Riverdance. The final one was Elvis, skating to his own 1994 Dragon program. It was like deja vu to see him come out in that outfit again. I was in tears. It was awesome. He also skated a solo later in the night to a Josh Groban piece, which was beautiful. He came back for an encore and did nine or ten (I lost count) flying camels and a scratch spin to close. I hadn't seen him skate in a couple of years, and it was so wonderful to witness.
