No matter what the sexual preference of any of the contestants might be, to be spoken to in that manner by a so-called judge is sexual harassment!
I, personally, think their task of backwards/reverse whatever you want to refer to it jumps was a joke! Yes, sure, they said part of it was to see how they handled it - their over all approach, but it is a totally unnatural thing to do and would be a bit funny to watch - but it is also not the safest thing either. The only way this task would have come off cool is IF the 3.5 judges donned their skates and did an attempt at a backwards jump for the contestants and cameras as well. SHAME, SHAME!
Then, they want to catch the group offguard and tell them they are going to Cypress Gardens for a day off. Their skates are there, but not the rest of their stuff. Come on! If the producers could get their skates, they could also have grabbed their duffle bags which in the few minutes they were given to drop it all off in their rooms would not have been unpacked. Rudy's remark about 'granny panties' deserved a really good belt in the mouth. I am dissapointed in Elvis for not twisting the arm off the bridesmaid.
I was also sorry to see Ashley go home - let's look at the real picture here...a number of these skaters are no spring chickens, none of these folks are Olympic material so my question is other than ice shows, what is their goal? Well, then - why critcize Ashley for being 'showgirl' style, when that is about all that skaters over 30 years of age can actually achieve with no prior BIG wins in national/worlds/ etc ???
Rudy and Oksana want to be the Simon Cowell of the Ice world and it isn't doing anything other than making them look like jerks. Oksana tried this last show to be a bit nices, but now it is phoney nice.
Elvis is about the only one with integrity, he showed a lot of restraint sitting next to Rudy...it's a shame he went the whole series not knocking him on his butt.
