I was one of luckiest1's group yesterday. We really were not sure what to expect with the show and I wasn't sure whether I wanted to drive to TO to watch what we though was only 2 min 20 sec of Elvis. The show was really good and diverse with the aerial gymnastics, the skating and the singing. (I got to tell the one singer that I thought he did really well.) We showed Elvis the love and he soaked it up and smiled big!!
What was nice is that we had a lady with us who is not a skating afficienado (sp?) but she felt the presence and energy that Elvis had when he came out. We regaled her on the way home with tales of our Elvis fandom. Luckiest1 and I went home to her house to watch some of her skating tapes. It was wonderful to relive such special moments!
Needless to say it absolutely was worth the drive to TO just to see Elvis looking fit and happy!!
