      I have to agree with Bob. A woman probably shouldn't go to the cove by herself. I'd recommend taking a cell phone and pepper spray or some kind of spray if someone is going down to the cove alone. I actually met a woman who sometimes would go along. I let her know when I'm going to the cove so she knows someone who will there. I would suggest to any female to meet some people and go with them to the cove. I'm guessing the hay is probably up some and in the next few weeks they will probably be cutting it if it doesn't rain too much.

      A couple of questions regarding the level of the water has come up again recently. Here below is a link George posted a few weeks ago regarding the lake level. Anything above 865 and there isn't any beach. You can check it out before you go to the cove to see how high it is. I'm guessing it will be at least 3 weeks before it goes down a lot. They also don't tend to let any water out. There are areas to the left you can go to lay out and even catch a breeze if the wind blowing.
