Hello all. Just wanted to tell all how much I enjoy sailing @ Smithville. I use precautions and practice my nudity while far enough away that it will not bother anyone. I usually sail during the weekdays so as to keep the number of other boaters to a minimum. Nothing is more enjoyable than to be sailing at nite in the buff and taking an occasional dip in the lake. That sounds great -- I suspect there's a fair number of boaters who bare all, at least women who go topless out on the Lake. Hope so anyway. And your report carries another notch - guys able to enjoy the sun and water in the nude from time to time. Sounds real good and with the other recent reports on the Board here about topless sunbathing at the public beach, our own Heartland Cove it sounds like there may be more nude and topless activity at Smithville Lake than I'd have suspected. As long as another Party Cove doesn't evolve it'll likely stay mostly below the radar and everybody will get along just fine.
Thanks for the report - one more the more hopeful things we've read lately -- as opposed to Camp Gaea's trouble, the Hippie Hollow ban on family nudity, Lake Edun under pressure and other bans and citations. Hooray for Clay County - at least for now.
Next time you go let me know and I will will bring my Venture 24 up and you can show me where and when the good sailing places and times can be found.
