Reminder - there will be NO SWIM in December.
The Heartland Club will resume monthly swims in January with a schedule to be confirmed and posted shortly before the end of the year. There will no swim in Decmber 2001 - the date fell close to Christmas and is being scrubbed for this one month.
Anybody been "polar baring" this month? Warm enough so it's been a better chance than in most years to join the polar bear club. Over at Lake Edun there is a group that endeavors to swim in each of the three winter months, December, January and Febraury. This year at least the December swim was easier than normal. Water temp is probably still in the 50 degree range. Anybody know of an online site that provides lake water temps for Smithville or Perry Lake?
