After an incredibly warm fall and early winter the weather has caught up with the calendar - and KC is closer to normal, 25 degrees this morning. Just 3 or 4 days ago I was able to get some afternoon sun - but that's probably it for about the next 3 months.
Anybody got any winter plans for trips to the Caribbean or maybe even another hemisphere?
Be sure and let us know - via a writeup when you're back. One way we stay-at-homes can at least get a glimpse of warmer, sunnier places.
Heartland swims will resume in January folliwing our regular schedule - 3rd Friday of each month. Location information is provided by email only - contact the club at hnclub@juno.com and please tell a bit about yourself: full name, city or area where you live and a little about why you'd like to attend a swim. All are welcome but swims are private Heartland events and as such we do ask newcomers and first timers to say hello with those basic bits of information.
Have a good Chrismas everyone - and a healthy New Year.
Best wishes.
Dick
