Here's a challenge for all the Heartland Cove regulars - even if it's only once or twice a season.
Come on our for the 5K Sun Run - it's two weeks away, Sunday July 13th at 10am. The "secret undisclosed location" isn't really a big secret but we also don't post the info publicly in order that the race doesn't become a gawker event. Those who register for the race will be given the location and driving instructions and suffice it to say the site is in the area and for most who live in or near KC no more than a one and a half hour drive.
It'd be a chance to meet some other Cove users in a new setting - take part in a 3 mile run or walk and enjoy the day in a new way. There might even be some water nearby for skinny dipping after the race - and I think snacks will be on hand plus all attendees are invited to bring some pot luck food for an after-race picnic.
Great way to show your support for nude recreation in the area - wholesome outdoor clothing optional recreation.

Anybody taking the challenge? Two week countdown underway - Sunday July 13th - 10 am. One taker will encourage another and another and we'll soon a real life "Cove Contingent" for the race.
I'm a Cove guy myself and I'm registered so maybe it's already underway -- but need some more to make it a party. Forget the race aspect - let's call it a 5K Moveable Party. See you there -- all of you.
