Thanks nudegene .. for the greetings and the suggestions about warmer places and sandy beaches.
Where would I go if I could? Even the Florida beaches aren't guaranteed to be warm in mid winter so I'd have to go farther south - maybe New Zealand for their summer season - since it's fantasy that's a good place to go and an interesting country to visit even aside from laying out where I could hear the surf which I enjoy no end. Cancun? Belize, Baja California? Yeah, they'd be good too and cheaper to get to. The Caribbean beaches - they're good year round - I'd go there.
Short all that how about the next Heartland swim - 8 to 10 pm January 21st, 2005 here in the KC area. Guess if you're on a ten buck budget that's gotta be it but the other places would be nice.
