We are a couple in Saint Joseph looking for any activities in the area. We have made a couple trips to Heartland Cove, and plan on making several more. We are also planning a trip to Prairie Haven for a weekend get away. We would like to have anyone interested contact so we could arrange our schedule to meet there. Saint Joseph does not have any areas to meet, but if anyone is interested, we are willing to offer our house or meet at theirs.

Hi, I am new to this message board and like you, I am from the St Joseph area. I have been thinking of going to Heartland cove, but just haven't found the time as of yet! I just wish it were closer! I would like to meet some people in the St Joe area to share some common interests. If the weather stays warm, I may venture down to the cove this weekend, or may try to find some spots closer to St Joe. Thanks!

I went to the Cove today - water was really high and it was muddy. But it was a really clear and nice sunny day.

Do you have a photo so I know who you are when I go to the cove?

For those of you from the St. Joe area, there are a few people from your area who have visited the cove the last two years. A couple and a varied gender group, who, I believe work together. Their attendance is according to their work schedule and the lake level, as last years level was not conducive for cove vistis. They are very friendly and probably would not mind meeting you at the cove. I have no names to offer and I am not sure that they look on this message board. You would just have to run in to them.

Also, there is a couple from Gower who go to the cove. That again, depends on their schedule.

In my visits to the cove, I have found that others well laid plans to meet do not come true. I will talk with others who would say someone else will be there, and they end up not showing. So, you will have to accept the attendance as being basically sporadic.

Good luck in the possibility of running into the others from your area. You might also check Camp Gaea for a visit sometime
