I didn't get up but bet the day was a good one. When it's 104 it's no fun baking in the sun but today would have been good.
I was there about a week ago - mostly to see how the aquatic weeds were doing. They're doing great which isn't good for the Cove. The lotus plants have moved all the way across the Cove and the milfoil's still a problem. The cattails don't extend too far into the water but they've taken over a lot of the shoreline.
Did you swim or try to swim/ Guess the best is off the north and south points - not so easy anymore from the middle of the Cove. Sorry to see how quickly the plants have taken over.
Did you have any company today? I'll try to get up one day this week if I dont' go out of town in my work.
