Nudists should be savvy consumers when it comes to buying sunscreen. We have more skin to expose and on average probably spend more time in the sun.
Each year a group called EWG puts out a guide to sunscreen and rates each one of over 600 brands and types not only for their sunblocking action but also for the chemicals used in the lotion and sunscreen. Some are effective sun blockers but contain ingredients deemed unsafe by EWG.

You have to get down to about page 12 to find the brands commonly sold in CVS and Walgreens and none of the top rated brands are widely known names. In general among the household names Neutrogena rates high and interestingly some store brand like CVS and Walgreens rate higher than some name brands.
Lots of difference between different products by the same outfit. The list is lengthy - but shows up those differences.
What's your brand and bottle? And how'd it do in the ratings? I'll probably still go for whatever's on clearance at the end of the season to use next season.
