Yes , the 97-98 is the one i got.....

I got to check, but i bought it here in Canada. I believe i payed about 180$ USD, i think. They sell them everywhere online though.

Its about over 1 yr, i have it now and no problems with it. I never took it off. I do my oil changes at the dealer and there is no problems with the oil. I don't have the bypass valve and had no problems here with canadian snow.

The filter is well placed and protected by the inner fender. I took it out about 2 weeks ago to clean and there was nothing to clean. So i put it back, it was clean. So no, i don't think any dirt goes through. The opposite, it filters better then OEM, cause there is a oil you put on the filter to pick up the dirt particles.
