Response to Rear Springs |
|
Alright, I used to be a huge soccer fan having played the sport while growing up. Now, I'm old and overweight!
Enough of myself...the rear springs in the V isn't meant to be used for heavy duty work because over time, they do sag.
This can be seen in the numerous Vs out that are from 97-98.
There are a few solutions for this:
1. Buy aftermarket springs that a slightly lower all around
2. Buy OEM springs
3. Buy spacers.
All of the above options have been tried and the cost varies from expensive to cheap. The cheapest being using $20 spacers to boost the rear springs.
We have used spacer on our Vs for 6 months or so and that seems to be holding up well. It gives a 1" lift from the rear differential and is fairly easy to install (jack up the V, lube up the spacers and slide it in).
Full review on the main site....coming soon.
