So Close! I was so close!!
I am only a couple of grand shy of 200,000 kms on my '97 V. All trouble free kms! I was getting ready for the big turnover (and what I thought would be many more thousands of trouble free kms). Then the light comes on today.
I was hoping it was just a loose gas cap but the V was chugging while I waited at the last stop light before getting to work.
My Honda tech confirmed my fears at the end of the day on the phone. "Sounds like one of the O2 sensors is gone". The part is close to $300 Canadian.
I can't believe i didn't make it to the 'big one'!
Has this happened to anyone else? Could he be wrong and it is something less painful?
