I get so sick and tired of fans bitching about the ref. He made questionable calls on both sides. He didn't call medium calls on both teams then a questionable call he would make. I'm not a homer but I thought it was even.
This Ice team that I have seen in the last three games is alot more physical than I have ever seen. Out of that, the more physical play they do they have taken more dumb penaltys.
1 - KTN Greenan, 0:51 - Holding , 2 min (PP)
1 - KTN Flatt, 0:55 - Delay of Game , 2 min (PP)
1 - KTN Bohunicky, 17:39 - Interference , 2 min (PP)
2 - KTN Mahovsky, 1:44 - Checking from Behind , 2 min PP)
2 - KTN Flatt, 9:43 - High Sticking , 2 min (PP)
2 - KTN Billsten, 10:14 - Hooking , 2 min (PP)
2 - KEL Schenn, 20:00 - Roughing , 2 min (PP)
3 - KEL Bodie, 7:53 - Kneeing , 2 min (PP)
3 - KTN MacDonald, 10:23 - High Sticking , 2 min (PP)
3 - KTN Cracknell, 13:13 - Elbowing , 2 min (PP)
3 - KEL Cuthbert, 18:11 - Roughing , 2 min (PP)
Look at the penalties, Flatt shot over the glass that a given.
Mahovsky checking from behind, that was obvious, open ice could of been cross checking also.
Schenn roughing I thought was a bad call, Ice player takes a late shot, he pushes him down to the ice and get 2mins.
Maybe a good call by the book but wrong call of ethics.
What about a Ice player that high sticked Bodie, knocked his helmet off his head with his stick and Bodie's helmet flew into the Ice penalty box. Ya think that wasn't a penalty?
Crackhead's elbow right in front of the ref wasn't a penalty?
MacDonald can opened Howarth at center ice, was that a bad call?
The Ice have opened themselves up, they think the only way to win against the Rockets is to play them physically. It didn't work last year when the Giants tried it.
Two years ago in the west final a good coach found out how to win against the Rockets, is Clouston a good enough coach? Time will tell?
