why are they playing Y-mens.

they should give westblom a shot in net.

l say they will get better in november like they always do.

Last night the Rockets didn't drive the net at all against the Ice, the ?Rockets didn't break a sweat at all.

Against the Tips the Rockets at least had some good chances and drove the net. Tonite they played parimeter hockey and were just terible.

Goaltending is not the problem maybe take a look @ the shots we have on net lots of them but none that will go in. Next practice maybe they should try to hit the mesh and not the goaile.

in both games so far this season. Bad reffing is nothing new to this league. Like it or not when things aren't going your way you have to change your game based on how the ref is calling it. We did not do that in either game. We faced twice as many PP's as we got in both games. You usually don't win those games!!

That being said i did like some of the things we did in the first two games. First off Lauris Darzins looks to fit in nicely for a little added scoring touch this year. He has great hands and good outside speed. Tyler Mosienko will continue to be great on the PK and offensively will contribute a bit more this year. Keller will improve on his stats this year probably not a lot but will hold his own.

To me the big questions are Comeau and Bodie. Both of these players need to have big years for the Rockets to go anywhere. Bodie is off to a good start but has to use his size against a predominately smaller opposition. Comeau hasn't shown me much since his stint last year at the Prospect game. He needs to start scoring - period!!

In net I'd like to Westblom get the next start. Yeomans hasn't looked solid at all. Some bad goals in both games. Time will tell!!

Two years ago we started the season 2 - 7. We were ranked 17th out of 18 teams. That year we went on the Memorial Cup in Quebec. Not that any of us are worried but remember "its not how you start - its how you finish"
