I asked this question in a Jan. post in the FoMoCo forum and Jeff Speegle (MCA Judge) answered.
As I recall he said that CJs in all 50 states had IMCO and that it "appears" that SCJ cars had THERMACTOR system.
A Mustang Monthly article (12-95 pg.27) has some info on the subject too. It states that the SCJ cars had to have the Thermactor because of the Holley versus the Quadrajet on the CJ.
If anyone else has info on the subject Im curious too. By the way to the SCJ owners are those Holleys manual Choke or Auto Choke ??
