Good point..John, One more note, ford only list two *replacement* converters for C6, one for everything before `71, and one for `71-up. So I would have to *guess* that the cut-off for the different sized 429 crank holes was 71, and not 70 as I stated??? But then this throw off the "year" in the service number for the crank, so don't quote me on this cut-off date !!!
