The March 1997 Mustang Monthly page 34,has some interesting articles on CobraJet motors. Some of it is not true , as we have found. I know my SCJ automatic came with a dual point. The original owner remembers changing the points. MM says;
71 DOOF-AA-Dual Pt. dual Dia. 4sp
71 DOOF-J,K,Y - dual Pt Dual dia. 4sp
71 D1AF-NA Single point single dia. auto.
They have been wrong on as many things as they have been right, so use this only as a guess not fact.
