If I'm not mistaken, the fuel bowls are machined for flared fittings. Therefore, there would be more to it than just tapping it for use on the driver's side. The shop I mentioned before does carb restorations and may be able to help you out. It may be worth a call to ask. Especially since Holley doesn't even list the part numbers. BTW they have also failed to answer several questions I sent to their tech line. Good luck.
