I got tired of the matt finish (twenty years of it), so when I had my car painted in '93, I went to a hi-gloss finish. Not original, but I like it better. I guess I'm working on about a 97 point car now, just until somebody else posts something that I'll have to fess up to... I too used armor-all on my matt finsh, and it did a good job in the past...
