Everthing was the same shade, even the side tape (hockey) stripes. On the lower black paint, a tape stripe was also used over this black paint, at the top, to form the pinstripe. The tape was an exact match for the paint. Most cars today just have the lower pinstripe painted on, which is wrong. The pinstripe was not used if the chrome molding was used in it's place.
