Our Two Cents

by Joe

Hi again everyone, here is what we did for those whom are curious.

All of our paint was Flat Black.

The Hood recieved 10% Gloss mixed in.
( I too was concerned due to her wanting a concourse car, and the maint to keep it fine.)
You have to be carefull as it should be flat but we added the 10% for maintaining ease of cleaning. There is not sheen(shine) and that's what we aimed for. We did it three times though.

The side stripes we used were original NOS, (two sets) These matched the 20% gloss that we added to the flat on the lower side perfectly. (The repos are glossy)

And a last note, Speegle confirmed that the lower accent was put on first, then the car was painted body color. Our car proved this as the black overspray was non exisistant on the floors, just yellow.. Hope this helps.
