lower black without chrome molding

Yes, and when the body color was added, a black vinyl Tape was added, (as I stated earlier) to where the body color and black met. This blended the two colors together with a crisp line. This was done on cars without the lower chrome molding, as Ford didntn't use masking tape to form the lower pin stripe, or to blend the colors when spraying the black, or the body color. (Same as a Boss 351) this saved time on the line. The part number for the black tape/ stripe was D1ZZ-6320000-L. This same method of appling the stripe was also used on the `72 Sprint. Semo Mustang sells a repro black stripe, but I have heard it's too shiny?
