Determine the drawing power of theatre
by
Find out if theatre has the drawing power to create repeat customers. "Would you be more likely to attend an exhibit, or visit a museum, if you knew a live performance component were included? Would you be willing to pay an additional fee to add a theatre performance to you visitor experience?"
As CatherineHughes knows, MOS' s theatre program has had to fight for acceptance and it's very existence (with Catherine being the general in charge). If there was some way to prove the appeal of theatre and its ability toa ttract people to a venue, this information would be a powerful tool in creating and maintaining a Museum Theatre program.
