Looking for sample one-person scripts
by
I'm hoping to write and perform some short one-person scenes based on local heroes/heroines as part of our history museum's school outreach program. I've got the research and the acting side of it is no problem. I've read Past into Present.
Still ... what's tough is putting together scripts for elementary school kids -- how long? what type of language? how much info to include? how to balance entertainment and historical info?
Would anyone be able to point me towards -- or be willing to share -- some good sample one-person museum theater scripts, preferably historical but of any type?
