Did anyone have any suggestions here?

This is a common dilemma for most museums. In a lot of big cities, school attendance dropped dramatically after 9/11. (Conversely, some more rural or suburban museums experienced an increase) That and the economy have had their effect. However, there was an increase in outreach requests, as this did not put students at any perceived risk.

Any answers on how to approach and market to schools would be helpful to a lot of folks, I'm sure. Unfortunately, I have none myself, beyond the obvious idea to connect your theatre shows explicitly and strongly to schools' curriculum and any state frameworks or benchmarks. I'd be interested in others' experience.

Best of luck.
