Try Murder!
by
At several institutions that I have worked we have tried to tap into the corporate party market. One way that I have attempted this is by writing and producing a murder mystery. I have produced mysteries with my own company for several years and they have been very popular. I have also produced a murder mystery at at a zoo and I am about to present one at Absecon Lighthouse in Atlantic City.
These interactive, site specifc events are attractive to evening rental clients at your facilty. They also require your actors to perform them. If you can sell the idea to your rental department, you have a good chance of some moderate success. Another possible revnue producer is hosting summer theatre camps.
If you would like anymore details on on how to structure a murder mystery please feel free to contact me.

P.S. Look for a how-to session on murder mysteries presented by Robert Forshaw and myself at IMTAL Australia in 2005
