Request for information

Dear IMtal friends:
I'm now goign to be sharing my love for museum performance with other tellers. An area in which I am unsure is grant funding for jobs--some museum theatre folk--both freelancers and administrators --have told me that they work cooperatively on grants performers. Could you help with some information?
1. Does your institution have grant writers on staff--please also tell me name of institution and size.
2. Have you obtained grants for performances before?
3. Do you ever talk with a performer and work togther on grants?
4. Are you receptive to being approached by a performer wiht an idea that might go to a grant to fund? Does teh performer ever write the grant?
5. If you covered performance costs what did you cover?
6. Anything else I should know to tell them? Thanks.
