I am 45 (46 on Grounhog Day) I have been modeling since I was 6. I have a Wife of 18 years and a step-daughter, who is now pumping out life forms of her own. They both hate airplanes (though my wife has a soft spot for the AV-8B).
I spent 7 years in the USN working on F-4J and F-14A Fire Control Radar, then I had a career as Field Service Engineer in the 3 Axis Fast Flow CO2 Laser Cutting manufacturing industry, but fate took that away, now I am a freelance Aviation Artist/Fine Artist/Illustrator.
I have this thing for making models look reasonably correct in shape, specifically. I am in the business of making Aircraft look correct and I try to do the same with models that initially do not come that way. Some times we all argue over this issue.
I live in New Hampshire. My wife and I operate a state licensed Ferret Shelter/Rescue.
I have in my family tree, America's first true urban Serial Killer, H. H . Holmes, formerly Herman Webster Mudgett (do a google search).
Check out my web site, if you get some time.
I'm currently working on box art for AM
