I was born in a little town called Orange, about 75 mi. West on Rt. 2 and like you, learned (from my dad) to fly in a 1946 Aeronca Champ. Unfortunately, he was a single fatality in a 172 in 1975, thus curtailing my lesssons all too soon. He was an instructor in AT-6's, a corporate pilot later in life and a weekend "puddle-jumper" whenever the opportunity presented itself. Naturally, I've been an aviation buff all my life and am just recently beginning to dive head first into modeling again after a lengthy hiatus. I, too, really enjoy Hyperscale and have learned ever so much from everyone involved (I even recognize YOUR name). Good luck in all your endeavors and I look forward to retirement in 28 months so I can buy more models!!
