Checking In..... Steve Sliger, Greenwell Springs, LA

Some of you know me from buying & selling kits, but I do build on occasion. I'm not a collector so to speak unless it concerns Real Space Hardware kits, then I both collect & build.
Here is my fact sheet:

Born in Aug, 1959.
A modeler since age 7 when my dad brought home
a 1/72 Helldiver kit for my birthday.

Raised as an Air Force brat until my dad retired
in '67 (after 20 years). Some say this is where I
get my love of aircraft & flying.

I like to build mainly Aircraft & Real Space in all
scales. I like aircraft of mainly WW II era & the late
50's to the present. I do build what ever strikes my
fancy though. Oh, I do build an occasional Armor kit
every now & then. As far as figures go, only Real
Space subjects for that matter.

Graduated college in '82 (Northwestern State Univ LA).

Served in the US Army 5 years as a commissioned
officer. Flew Attack & Scout helicopters
(AH-1S, OH-58C, & got some time in AH-64s & UH-60s).

Married 21 yrs with one son (who like to model too).

Currently employed as an EMS helicopter pilot flying
out of Baton Rouge, LA for a private ambulance
service.
