I am writing to get feedback on an idea that I am in the beginning stages of putting together. One month ago at the 2007 Dallas Scale Fest (Grapevine Convention Center), we had two F4 drivers from the Vietnam Conflict displaying their 1/32 scale F4's and providing a forum regarding their Air Victories exploits and also their Hanoi Hilton experience.
I am in the process of having a 1/32 Tamiya CAG 1979/80 VF-84 Jolly Rogers Air Wing 8 F14A tomcat model built to spec, and also contemplating getting as many of the Air Wing 8, VF-84 F14 drivers (pilots) from the 1979-1980 together for a reunion at the next Dallas 2008 Scale Fest to provide a forum for anyone and to be a part of the model display, in which several years from now I will donate to the Smithsonian for Historical purposes detailing the F14A aircraft and its crew. Please let me know if you have any contacts that I can contact to help me coordinate this addition to the annual Dallas 2008 scale fest. Hope to ya'll there.
      Sincerely, David "Doc" Mayo
