      Welcome Joel, I build mainly 1/72 WWI also. Love Roden kits for thier diverse WWI collection. I wash them with mild dishwash detergent and then spray them with (rattle can)Krylon grey primer. No problems after that. Decals are a different issue though! I always coat them with microfilm and paint a generous coat of future floor wax on the model before application. Tim
