My ideal card:
Two regional flippy guys who can put on a good match.
Can sometimes be a "popcorn match", but would be a good time for two veterans, maybe one of your names to come out and get the crowd riled up.
Solid tag match, two decent indy teams who can go out and give you 10-12.
Solid regional match that can possibly one of the best pure matches of the evening.
Name -vs- local/regional guy. Good way to put one of the bigger names over before they do polaroids at intermission.
Can be a "popcorn match" for post-intermission stragglers, but can be another solid tag match or a good time to bring out the women.
A good time to bring out another name to put them over to keep the crowd hot.
Whatever your top local/regional draw is on the show, put them on here. Even if it is just a guy that sells a lot of tickets, the people that came to see them usually leave after their match, but since there is only one match left, they should stay.
Your main event. Put your top name on the show here, maybe even name -vs- name match.
