The I.W.A. presented Red, White, and Bruised from The Backstage, it was a night full of surprises, new champions, and great wrestling action, and all matches were contested inside a steel cage!!
The Show started with Euthanasia in the ring, United States Champion Rick Ramsey was bragging about how he had established his dominance over Charlie Brown,and said even though he was slated to compete in War Games later on in the night made an open challenge for his United States Championship, Ramsey could never have predicted who would accept. Cody Hawk, a veteran of professional wrestling, and the man who trained Euthanasia's own Ron Mathis, Devon Maximus, and Sid Angel accepted the challenge!! Hawk said his students had forgotten some things he has taught them such as respect and not having an ego, and to teach them a lesson was taking the United States title away from Euthanasia.
RICK RAMSEY def CODY HAWK to retain the United States Title- Through much of this match the veteran, Cody Hawk, took Ramsey to school. However in the end Euthanasia's presence at ringside was too much, Hawk was about to escape the cage after hitting his signature Muscle Buster, but was cut off by Adrenaline-X and Sid Angel, the distraction was enough to allow Ramsey to hit the superkick and retain the gold!
J.T. HOGG def DAVID LANNING- Another chapter was written in the personal rivalry between The Razorback and the Doctor, as they met inside a steel cage, the winner of this match was to earn the advantage in the war games match, the massive Hogg was able to get the win and earn the advantage for his team.
THE RUSSIANS def MATT AWESOME & JERRY THE GATOR- The dasterdly duo of The Russians made there return to the I.W.A. and made it a successful one as they were victorious over the highly popular duo of Matt Awesome and Jerry the Gator.
ADRENALINE-X def BIG COUNTRY AND C.O. HUSTLER to become new I.W.A. tag team champions- Due to a family emergency, Rok Wyler was not able to make the show, however Big Country was able to find a very capable replacement in the returning C.O. Hustler!! It was aggressive fight, and it appeared Hustler/Country had the tag titles won, but Ramsey appeared slamming the cage door in Country's Face allowing Maximus to escape, winning the tag titles for Adrenaline-X and adding more gold to Euthanasia.
AMERICAN KICKBOXER 2 def ALLEY CAT, SID ANGEL, and NICK ABBOT to become new cruiserweight champion- This match was nothing less than insane! With 4 of the premiere cruiserweights in indy wrestling battling for the cruiserweight title. Nick Abbot hit a moonsault onto all 3 opponents off the top of the cage! In the end it looked as if Angel was going to escape the cage when AKB2 was able to kick Sid in the back of the head and escape the cage to capture the gold!!
CHARLIE BROWN was the sole survivor in War Games- Charlie Brown captained a team featuring David Lanning, B.D. Fields, and the debuting PS3 and Loco against a team captained by Rick Ramsey featuring J.T. Hogg, M.E. Howerton, Bull Miller, and Derik Flynt. All looked lost for Brown when he was stuck alone in the cage with Ramsey and Howerton, a mis-communication allowed Brown to eliminate Howerton, then it was down to the 2 rivals Brown and Ramsey! It look as if Ramsey was going to escape the cage door when Cody Hawk re-appeared giving Ramsey a taste of his own medicine, slamming the cage door in Ramsey's face, allowing Charlie Brown to escape the cage and become the sole survivor of War Games!!
The I.W.A. returns to The Backstage in Chillicothe on August 5!! Adrenaline-X makes there first defense of the tag team titles against PS3 and Loco, American Kickboxer 2 defends his newly won cruiserweight title against Sid Angel. What's next for Charlie Brown after the biggest win of his career? Will "The Icon" Cody Hawk make another appearance and continue to try to teach his students some respect?? Plus much much more!!
