This "do the numbers" post is baffling. You're obviously off base from the start if over 300 paid at $10-$15 a ticket comes to "only" $2,500. Plus, how could AIW lose money from selling concessions? Yes - AIW runs legally through the OAC and the permit was posted at the door. Nobody was hanging around after the show to get paid.
I don't understand the benefit of being so adamant about AIW's supposed failure when the show has only received rave reviews. If you think AIW sucks so bad, why not buy a ticket to the next show and see for yourself rather than speculating? You should have plenty of chances since we have 5 more shows lined up through August.
