Re: AIW Wrestling Nightmare Before X-Mas 5 Results
"tru" like Master P? I hope someone else thought of that while reading the ignorance in the post above. It made me laugh anyway.
I love how people who can't get booked or draw fans at their shows come on here and bash to make them selfs feel better. As a fan of wrestling in general and someone who would attend every companies shows (at least once) if possible, I am saying that I had NO problem with the main event. Like others have said, it capped off the show and was a huge part of a 4 month story. I mean what should they do, have it 3rd on the card leaving all the other matches lack luster since the payoff already happened? Let me put it this way, if you book a show, do you put a death match first and then follow it with a dance off and end it with a tables match? No, its common sense as to why AIW did it this way. Maybe I am full of shit and know nothing, BUT that is how I see it. The match it self was not even a match really but I am pretty sure that anyone with the tiniest amount of brains knew it wouldnt be. It served its purpose and IMO was pretty entertaining.
The whole show was pretty good in fact. the best matches I feel were ACH, Mat Fitchett & Danny Vega vs. The Submission Squad. Pinkie vs. Eric Ryan (Not really a big Ryan fan but they worked well together and Pinkie was good as always.) And Colin VS Jimmy. BUT for the guy who wants to hear negative thoughts, I will share what I did not like as well. I thought there was a bit too much of the comedy stuff with the same freeze things and slowing down stuff happening and what not. That being said I was kind of disappointed in Colt's match vs. Aero but I think he picked it up a lot in the Tag match so it makes sense. I also wasn't high on the Fontaine vs. Chuck Taylor match. My Buddies liked it so maybe I just missed something OR just built up the hype too much in my own head for these two.
All in all, I felt it was a pretty good show and I had fun. If you didn't, you are not a real wrestling fan or are just bitter about something. Simple as that.
