MCW runs different locations through out the year, so if they use him on different shows he can draw in different towns, They have a show they run on web site so if they use him in story lines he also can help, all in all they have ran for a long time so I am sure they know what they are doing and the deal must have been good for both parties. Sure he works for ROH as well so even if they use him like that it will help the show qaulity and the other talent on the show.
