i dont think so. whats funny is that there is a simple box i can check in the administration of this board to make every ip address of every post visible to everybody, so im pretty sure thats not against federal law to show them. oh and no there are no archives.

......If law enforcement has to get a subpena to get access to an ip address, what makes you think you can post same without proper procedures? Which is as follows, if any board, chat room, etc... decides that they are going to post/reveal any personal information like an ip address they have to follow protocol by putting a PUBLIC warning on the board for everyone to see. So that they are forewarned before posting. Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986 (ECPA), 18 U.S.C. ยง 2510-22.

as i originally said, i can check one box and it would reveal every
ip address of every post ever made on this board. im pretty sure all boards are like that. so revealing an ip address of somebody that posted here is in no way illegal. maybe your referring to making a post just revealing somebodies ip in general, which may be illegal, i have no idea. that might be true. but it doenst apply here, because i sure didnt, or would post anybodies ip address for no reason at all.

.....Read the above LEGAL arguments and you will see you're mistaken. Also, no archives?? Try this on for size.

To the PWX grunt workers that decided to besmirch a particular person by posting his name on this crud board which he didn't even know about until I sent him the link. He himself doesn't want to do anything against you since he's a minister. Since I started talking to him, I have not met a kinder, gentler man. But, he said he will be bringing this up with the owner of the company. He also explained to me that his friends didn't take kindly to your actions and remarks. Let's put it this way, you don't know what your immature punk remarks started. Apparently, Not everyone is as kind as he is.
