Brian Hardy is the son of Barry Hardy. Some Of you older guys might Remember that name from the original superstars as a regular jobber in both singles and with his tag partner Daune Gill. They also worked as the masked jobber team the exicutioners. He has been trained by both his father, and Gillberg, as well as axl rotten. As far as calling anyone in this business a mark is hypocritical. The kid runs his own fed, while also being a regular at ACW, 1CW, and others as far north as buffalo. At one point, he held 3-4 cruiserweight titles at once. The kid has come along way, he just lost his grandmother who raised him, and his biggest supporter. Even his dad said he was too small to ever job in the wwe, and because the business has changed. But the kid worked hard. For those that don't know what it is like backstage at wwe, they bring in 9 guys. Sometimes it's 3 or 4 and Booker t or someone else's students making up the 9. You are brought to the ring at 2:00 and get in the ring with a Wwe superstar like Tyson kidd or someone on the midcard. You bump, feed up, bump feed up, bump, run the ropes and bump. Then you are paired up and work a 4-5 min match for Bill Demott and Jamie knoble while one guy is always left out. You botch, and chances are he will stop you there. Basically when you work with the superstar he is seeing if you can sell, take direction, and are loose. The match is to see how well you work, and bump. They don't care how many great spots you can do, cause you are a nobody and they tell you that. Then Ryback comes down and hits his moves on you. If there is a cage match bill and Jamie will throw you into it, to test it before the show. After all this you go to catering with the whole wwe lockeroom. Then you are put in an area with the other extras. If they need you, sometimes you won't know till right before the match. Others like security, or paparazzi, or Druids are told in advance. But to get a wrestling role, you have to impress them. once you make it on air, your done for that arena. Anyone can do this as long as your either in shape or skinny, you need to apply on their website. Also, if you do the paid tryout at FCW, you go into the database and are called when they are in your area. When you apply, you must send them current matches and pics. Don't wear gimmicked gear at the arena! I hope to see more local Indy guys on tv! The Ryback angle is lame, but it is giving alot of Indy guys tv time and a nice payday.
